What is Bitcoin ?

Any kind of investments, especially investments in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are less risky than your usual Individual brokerage account. In fact some bookies shown that even day trader users made around 7 % ROI in just one year when investing in cryptocurrencies or some stocks.

We are going to focus on general strategies and some technical nuances from time to time. But don’t be fooled by “sexy chart” or flashy charts 🤖. A reasonably well constructed, decent looking, well substantiated and well understood investment strategy is what’s going to feed your wealth. Bitcoin is a great place to start because of its fundamentals also elements which make it a highly efficient technological investment vehicle.

Buffett usually wears the same outfit. The same blue dress shirt, trousers and loafers. He seemed to be wearing the same outfit every time i saw him. Coupled with his unfying interest and the fact that the professionals advise against wearing the same outfit (to seize opportunities) i could’ve sworn that this guy had 7 different outfits that he change depending on who he’s talking to. Like the management consultant advises, there is a reason the hero of the show wears the same outfit. Same as Buffett.

Flashbacks to Buffett’s investment strategy reminded me to a video from Digiday by Sam Roarty. I am going to quote some lines from that video if you want to understand better the difference between Buffett and the standard Warren Buffet.

As we know Bitcoin has been around for a long time, back in 2013 it was in it’s infancy — This means it’s now a year old. The price of Bitcoin has risen by over 2,000% in the last year alone. It is now worth close to 8 billion dollars. But that means it can cost a lot of money to own, and this is where investment comes in.

Investing in Bitcoin always comes with risks though. Although we have learned quite a lot from the past months, due to the fact that we now own different assets, we need to be aware of what the return could be. You see, when we invest in Bitcoin, if the price drops by $100, this means we can lose $100. So to keep our investments safe, we need to raise the levels of our hedge. If we think the game will continue forever, and by the end of the game we will have lost all of our money, then there is no point in investing, We get gammed.

There are two main main ways of investing in Bitcoin, the first one is buying the currency outright which is the most safest way of investing in Bitcoin. It’s also the oldest way and the one that is still debatable for which some people think it’s the safest way — because of the inflation. But I personally believe that it’s the safest way. The only trouble is that if the inflation is too high or too low in the time that you buy the currency, then your investment could turn into a Ponzi Scheme.

So you buy a Bitcoin at the current exchange rate, and you keep it for a long time. That’s how buying Bitcoin worked in the very beginning. You keep it until the inflation is high or low, and then you sell it. That’s the simplest way of investing in Bitcoin.

The second way is buying Bitcoin, and then directly transferring large sums of money out of your Bitcoin wallet. When you buy Bitcoin, you put your money in a wallet called a bitcoin wallet. The wallet contains the private key of your Bitcoin — and you control this secret number. Then when you want to transfer the Bitcoin you simply say this Bitcoin goes to this specific balance and it goes into your bank.
